I also didn't clear CMOS after the BIOS update, is this completely necessary or just a recommendation? This is what I am scared about, it overheating and frying itself and stuff around it. 38 is low for idle but the cooler the longer your PC will last, or is this low to the point where that doesn't really factor in to this? Also like you said your GPU is running a little warm. If it is reading 28 C and it is really at 38 C and I don't know it it might not kick in as early as it should. The front 240mm fan is set to the lowest possible speed with the adjustable dial. Why add unnecessary dust and noise? I have the same Corsair case as you, with a 2500K and a Geforce GTX 560ti. It's a matter of taste, but I like to run my fans as low as possible. I clean out the dust with compressed air every month or month and a half, high psi but I am very careful and don't max out the nozzle, would you still lower the fan speeds?
